One of my favourite clients retired and I was very sad to see him leave.
It’s not often in life that you meet a person who exudes positivity and who is a
true inspiration. I designed this card as a farewell to him from myself and two
other girls in the office who were also sad to see him go. It is based on one
of my FAVOURITE videos EVER of a couple of gnus (blue wildebeest) at a
waterhole in Africa. I suggest you watch it here.

Your future is in your own hands
The
vector illustration of this design was originally sumbitted for a T-Shirt
competition for Hansa Pilsener. They wanted designers to capture the young,
vibey and go-getting spirit of the people who drink Hansa Pilsener. My design
didn’t win, but I enjoyed creating it.

King of Arts Exhibition
27 Durban designers were each asked to create two illustrated cards which
were made up into a limited edition pack of playing cards, and sold as A3
prints at the exhibition. I was given the eight of hearts and the eight of
clubs. I decided to play around with these and rotated the 8 to become the
infinity sign, and changed the club icon into a four-leaf clover. The titles
for the artworks were Forever Lucky and Forever in Love.
